Our Team Grows Stronger:
Welcome Jordan Sommers
Join us in welcoming a recent addition to our team, Jordan David Sommers aka JD, a multi-linguist possessing a diverse interdisciplinary career history. Jordan’s impressive academic and professional track record includes advanced certifications from American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages for Russian and Ukrainian, four master’s degrees, multiple academic roles, including instructor, archivist, researcher, freelance contributor for an online magazine, and multiple fellowship awards. He also served as a translator for a French organization and as an administrator and coordinator for a health and rehabilitation center before becoming a full-time government contractor for a global outsourcing provider based in Ochlocknee, Ga. He is also the current director of publishing and global correspondence for an e-magazine.
Leveraging Diverse Experience for Sales Success
From working with the government in various capacities, Jordan is confident that his previous endeavors, as well as his experience living and working abroad, will be valuable in strengthening relationships with Vacavia’s suppliers and clients. With the ability to speak four languages (Russian, Ukrainian, Hebrew, and French), he believes that he can leverage his linguistic knowledge to forge new professional partnerships that will be beneficial. He will be working with our government-sector clients, including veteran’s housing; military morale, welfare and recreation (MWR), and state and national parks.
Outside of Jordan’s booming career and various engagements, he enjoys travelling and being outdoors with his fiancée.
